Soft Tissue Surgery

We perform many types of surgeries at our clinic, though most are soft tissue surgeries (those that are not associated with bone). It is important to our team that you feel comfortable discussing every aspect of a pending surgery for your pet- we proceed with each case individually, taking into account their age, health status, and any other special circumstances, when developing our best surgical plan for them.

We perform a thorough physical examination and pre-anesthetic labwork on all surgical candidates and thoroughly discuss what to expect during the pre-op, operating, and post-op periods (to include recovery at home with you). During your pet’s surgery, you can rest assured that our team of dedicated doctors and support staff will utilize current recommended surgical techniques and monitoring equipment throughout the procedure.

Some examples of soft tissue surgeries that we offer include, but are not limited to:

  • Spay (Ovariohysterectomy)
  • Neuter (Castration)
  • Mastectomy
  • Pyometra OVH
  • Soft Tissue Mass Removals (+/- Biopsy)
  • Nasopharyngeal Polypectomy
  • Exploratory Laparotomy

  • Intestinal Resection/Anastomosis
  • Splenectomy
  • Liver, Intestinal, and/or Lymph Node Biopsies
  • Nares Revision

In addition to soft tissue surgeries, when the unfortunate need arises, we are also able to perform tail, digit, and/or limb amputation in many cases. Feel free to discuss this further with our veterinary team members.
